Updated: Feb 21, 2024

Facade pipes completed for the organ in Birmingham Conservatoire

The facade pipes for the new organ in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire are now finished. They were made by Terry Doyle from start to finish for William Drake Limited, Specialist Organ Builders. The video shows how a protective foil is applied by Terry and Chris Shires to the facade pipes. It will be left in place until they are voiced and placed in the instrument.
